Always striving for improvement, Marvin Windows and Doors has introduced initiatives that rethink our value chain, improve resource productivity while lowering environmental costs, and implement green practices that make producing beautiful windows an environmentally-friendlier process.

Energy Efficient Products

Marvin Windows are Energy Efficient
Besides building energy-efficiency into product performance, we consider the extended life of Marvin products.

Marvin products can meet ENERGY STAR (what’s this?) requirements in all four ENERGY STAR regions. View energy performance information or contact your local retailer to find out more about glazing options and ENERGY STAR-labeled units that are right for your home.

Energy Efficient Processes

Recycling and Waste Reduction
At Marvin, we're constantly looking for ways we can maximize the resources we have and reduce what ends up
as waste.

Forestry Management
Properly managed forests supply a continual source of wood. Marvin is committed to sustainable forestry management both at home and abroad.

Marvin products are available with chain of custody certification for either SFI® certified wood or FSC® certified wood. While SFI certifies wood products in North America, the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) operates worldwide to assure biodiversity and conservation of forests along with humane labor practices.

Chain of custody for either certification means that the wood in your Marvin product has been tracked from the forest from which it was harvested, through manufacturing and distribution, to the building where it is installed. Each process along the way has been third-party certified to meet environmentally responsible criteria established by FSC or by SFI. All species are available FSC-certified, including tropical hardwoods Cedro Macho and Mahogany. All species except tropical hardwoods are available SFI-certified.
