Marvin hosts Esther Greenhouse seminar on Enabling Design

Marvin was pleased to sponsor a seminar this morning with Esther Greenhouse, a renowned environmental gerontologist and advocate for Enabling Design. Christine Marvin, director of marketing for Marvin Windows and Doors, is an industry leader in the move toward smart design that helps people function at their highest level. Greenhouse and Marvin told an attentive audience about the different design considerations that address specific aspects of living, all under the general umbrella of Enabling Design.
For example, the terms Universal Design and Accessible Design are sometimes used interchangeably, but Greenhouse explained that they address different pieces of the Enabling Design puzzle.
