A very girly color combo

While perusing Apartment Therapy this morning, I came across two pieces of furniture that I think would look great in my living room (or my imaginary living room; I think if I got these I’d have to redo the whole place!). Here they are:

Pink and gold. Definitely bold and very feminine! I think the color combination is fabulous, but is it too much? Are a pink chair and a gold stool just too garish and/or girly? Would one of these statement pieces be enough? What do you think?
